Creating the Front Cover Image

How I Created my school magazine front cover image? I used Photoshop  to create the school magazine. I started by removing  the original background and cropping the picture to help the cover look good but also fit with the codes and conventions set by the exam board of a Mid Shot as the cover picture. This means i would remove most of the body of the picture just keeping the head and shoulders. In future i will take my photos from this shot/angle to make sure my pictures are the best they could be.
