Analysis of Double Page Spread - 4

Double Page Spread 4 - Billboard
My next double page spread is from the US Magazine Billboard. This is the first magazine spread I have seen that doesn't feature a picture that takes over the whole page. But there are two small pictures that are placed next to each other near the end of the article. I like the design of this page as it is current but there is a lot of text on the page that really takes the main focus. Next to the picture there is a list of Rihanna (the singer features on the article) chart results which makes sense as this is a magazine based upon the US official Hot 100. This is something i may use in my design because as its a music magazine it will add some information from one of the most important aspects of the music industry. Within the article there is different larger quotes which are taken from the article surrounding it this is done in a lot of publications but this is the first time i have seen it when reviewing a music magazine whilst taking part in my research. The quote also has highlighted the parts of the quote which are more important within a brighter colour. Like the other articles they have broke the content into sub titles to make the reader understand the different sections better. I like the look of this page and will want to use some aspects of this page for my double page spread.
