This double page spread is for Lady Gaga in the Q Magazine. The thing that sticks out most of all is the L that features prominently overlaying the article. The L stands for Lady Gaga and because it is placed over the article it makes the page stand out to any reader who looks at it, this is something used across numerous articles i have seen from Q Magazine. On top of the article in a header form there is the name of the artist it is about, this would be helpful when looking through the magazine as you would be able to see who the page is about and would make it easier for the reader to decide to view it or not. Half of the double page spread is taken up by a photo which is a mid shot/up close photo. The photo is in black and white but still stands out and this is down to the design of the photo they chose to create. Although the double page spread has some really eye catching elements the actual text content looks very large and slightly dull, when i create my double page spread i will try and space out my text to make the page look more current and creative.Wednesday 13 March 2013
