Contents Page 4: Mix Mag Magazine

The penultimate magazine that I am looking at is from ‘Mix Mag Music Magazine’. This is a very creative and current contents page with lots of colour and unique styles. The main thing on this page is the picture of the ‘Martinez Brothers’. They are an act that features inside of the magazine and having those so big helps the reader get a taster of what to expect when reading there article. The title of the page ‘Contents’ is placed at the top with Yellow curly writing, this style of writing and colour stands out well against the black/white background. This style of font is used again for the sub title to label the ‘features’ of the magazine. Another way of finding out where different pieces of content are within the publication is the big numbers that are put next to the photos, being numbered is helpful as it means the reader can easily find what they are looking for from the contents page. At the bottom of the page there is a section about the ‘freebie’ that has been offered with the magazine you have bought this is something I have seen on previous contents pages and something I may use when creating my contents page as it is a good way of gaining more readers and the target market I will be creating my magazine for would most likely enjoy this item from the research I have looked at and done.
